NEW EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY ABOUT CABHA – SA

March 4th, 2010 by Mary Powell

North Carolina Substance Abuse Provider Association with the Governor’s Institute on Alcohol and Substance Abuse is introducing a  new opportunity to obtain information about Critical Access Behavioral Health Agencies and Substance Abuse Services.   We will be holding a Q & A Conference Call during the week of March 8th.  Information about the conference call will be available by Monday, March 8th at this website.

At this time we are seeking your questions about CABHA for substance abuse services.  Your questions will inform the content that will be presented on the conference call.  Click on the comments button below and post your questions at the LEAVE A REPLY box.  You will not receive a personal reply.

Other general resources for CABHA information are located at the Division of Mental Health/Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services website at www.dhhs.state.nc.us/MHDDSAS/.

We would like to collect as many questions as possible for answering on the conference call.

  2. A. Mckoy says:

Due to the continued confusion over the service continuum, will new timeframe of April 1st  for providers of IIH or CST providers be extended if providers are in the process of seeking  endorsement for additional services and have everything else in place for CABHA (eg.,  Medical Director, Clinical Director, QI/Training Director). Can this be looked at on a case by case basis, especially with providers with long term and excellent records.
